ACTING COLLECTIVE
Acting Collective started on a thought in the summer of 2009, and since that time, what started as the Byron Drama Club has grown into Acting Collective.
To this point, audiences have been able to enjoy over 20 full-scale productions portrayed by some of the finest young talent in the middle Georgia area. .
Our former cast members have also found success in continuing their acting careers with several pursuing acting in college, auditioning for television/movie productions in New York, and becoming part of Walt Disney World's internship programs. Acting Collective performs two-three shows per year, with practices being held on Mondays.
We hope that you will become a part of our family by either joining our cast, or watching one of our productions, see you at the Studio!

When a group of kids stumble across a dusty VHS tape in their attic labeled “DO NOT PLAY,” they can’t resist hitting play. What begins as a flicker of static quickly spirals into chaos as characters from the most iconic films of the 1980s step straight out of the screen and into their town. Each with unfinished business, and each desperate to return before the portal closes forever.
With time running out, the kids must piece together the truth about the mysterious tape, face hilarious and spooky chaos, and recreate legendary movie moments to send their unexpected guests home. Heart, humor, and a whole lot of nostalgia collide in this thrilling adventure that asks one big question:
What happens when the movies you love won’t stay on the screen?
